Safety Standards
Your family's health and safety are of the utmost importance. With this in mind, Joyous Dreams has the highest health and cleanliness standards.
Our staff will gladly wear a mask at your request.
Pillow covers, linens, and blankets are professionally laundered and stored after every single event. Rugs are professionally cleaned, vacuumed, disinfected after each use. String lights and lanterns are battery operated, so do not create a fire hazard. All genuine pine teepee poles have rubber or silicone floor protectors. Quality air mattresses are completely covered in a waterproof zip mattress protector, which is laundered, and the mattress disinfected. We ask that all guests provide their own sleeping pillows for sanitary reasons. We will provide brand new pillows and pillow cases, which can be kept, at an additional cost.

We service all of Nassau County, NY at no additional travel fees. Due to our unique service, we must make 2 Round trips to your location, one for set up and one for pick up. A travel Fee of $50 will be applied to any bookings outside of Nassau County, such as the Boroughs, NYC, or Suffolk County. We currently do not provide service outside of the state of NY.
We will set up your event in your home, or any venue you'd like, provided there is enough space.
No! That's the best part! Leave all the work to us. We come to you to set up and decorate, creating a unique, cozy, themed sleepover that will transport your guests to a special place where memories are created.
We ask that the area be clean and cleared of all furniture prior to our arrival. The next day, we come back to break it all down.
Because we currently have a limited number of tents, and don't want anyone to miss out, a 25% Non-refundable Retainer Fee will be required at the time of booking to hold your party date, and ensure availability of items. We accept Credit or debit only. This Retainer will go towards the total cost of your event, which will need to be paid in full by 5 days prior to the event date. Also, a refundable damage/theft deposit of $100 will be collected with the final payment. This will be returned in the manner in which it was paid, pending no damage or theft to any of our items.
ASAP! Please book your party at least prior to 2 weeks prior to the event date. Some popular weekends and holidays are sold out months in advance. A specific date will not be held without a deposit.
We understand that life happens, and illnesses such as COVID come without warning. We ask that you cancel or reschedule as soon as possible if a conflict arises, such as an emergency or illness. The 25% Retainer fee is non-refundable, but it can be applied toward the cost of a future party within 150 days of the original party date. If you choose to cancel our services completely, and not reschedule, the retainer fee will not be refunded.
At this time, we only accept cash, or credit and debit, via Square, a secure, encrypted online payment system.
While we'd love to be there for the fun, we do not stay or host the party. We'll set you up for the best sleepover ever, and come back for the wrap up. You will be able to reach us anytime if you need to during the event.
The overall size of the teepee and the twin air mattress together is approximately 5 feet high, 4 feet wide, and 6.5 feet long. We will arrange the teepees in the best configuration for your space, however, it is your responsibility to make sure the overall space is large enough to accommodate all the teepees reserved. To help out, we ask for pictures or video to survey the space before a party to determine if the teepees will fit and in what configuration.
Please allow 1 to 2-1/2 hours for unloading, setting up, and decorating, depending on the number of teepees you have.
All ages can enjoy the unique feeling created by a teepee slumber party! Whether its a very first sleepover, a family tradition, or a special event, kids and adults can share in the fun of teepees. From a bachelorette party, a movie night, or a spa night, to a stay up all night giggling party, Joyous Dreams will tailor your theme to make sure everyone has the best experience possible.
